Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 31, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Itinie(“Itinie”, “we”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Itinie (the “Service”).
Information we collect
- Account data. Your email address, managed through our authentication provider (Supabase), when you sign up or sign in.
- Itinerary content. The text you paste and the trips you create (titles, stops, locations, dates, notes). Maps you create are accessible to anyone with the link.
- Payment data. Token purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details; Stripe handles payment information under its own policies.
- Usage data. Basic technical logs (e.g. request metadata) used to operate and secure the Service.
How we use information
- To provide the Service: parsing your itinerary, generating maps, and saving your trips.
- To process payments and manage your token balance.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Third parties we share data with
We share data only as needed to run the Service:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Mapbox — geocoding and map rendering for the locations in your itinerary.
- OpenRouter / AI model providers — the itinerary text you submit is sent to a large language model to extract trip structure.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention & your choices
We retain your account and trip data until you delete it or close your account. To request access to or deletion of your data, contact us at itiniehelp@gmail.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
